Product Description:
Little Angel Mike
is a guardian-angel-in-training. He doesn't understand how God can let bad things happen in the world. Whether it's the tragic events of September 11, 2001, or the loss of a beloved pet, shouldn't God be able to stop the bad things? Big Angel Gabe is a wise old angel, and it's his job to help answer Little Angel Mikey's tough questions and to guide him through the mystery of suffering and into a hopeful place. In a nonpreachy, accessible manner, the message of God's great compassion and our ability to bear even the greatest burdens is offered here with a gentle wisdom.

My daughter at the age of 7 lost her father in a tragic death. Now she is 9 and is worried about her own self dying and whether there is indeed a heaven and also worries about leaving everyone behind. This book helped her feel better about what goes on in heaven and gave some great ideas to reassure her about her own life and the after life. Eased alot of questions she had and also gave me guidance as well. We saved time through out the day to read when she was ready.

This book was recommended to me while going through heartaches and pains. It was considered a childrens book, this is one of those book to help the child inside of us understand on an easier , comfortable level.. That life is what it is and that we are not alone . (Nicole)-NY

I love this book! I have been reading this book to my 6 and 9 year old boys and we are loving it. We read a chapter, discuss what we've read, share our feelings and then pray. This book has a few things that our not our beliefs but, that has only brought up more discussion. I highly recommend this book!!!

I found this book to be an excellent way to "talk about" the events of 9/11 with my 9 year old child, and try to understand at her level (or younger) "why God let it happen". We read it together, discussing it as we went along. She looked forward to reading it together, which was an opening to talk about her feelings about that horrific day and giving some explanation of what happened to all who died on 9/11 and after.
