Product Description:
La La Rose is a pink rabbit. She and her little girl, Clementine, are absolutely inseparable. Until, one day in Luxembourg Gardens, the unthinkable happens: La La Rose gets left behind. Boys toss her in the trashcan, a jogger runs with her, a dog drags her from the fountain . . . La La Rose keeps getting farther and farther from her Clementine! Will she ever be safe in her arms again?
In this touching story, Satomi Ichikawa seamlessly captures both the beauty of Luxembourg Gardens in Paris and the very special love between a child and her favorite doll.

This is a lovely book. We got it from the library, and now must own it. My twin four year old boys were enthralled. I had to read it over again immediately. Its a wonderfully illustrated book with beautiful scenes from Luxembourg's Garden. Children will be caught up in the lost toy's journey through the park and eventual reunion with her little girl. Excellent story, charming illustrations. Highly recommend.

Perfect for children as young as 2+, this charming and beautifully illustrated tale of a little girl and her favorite stuffed rabbit enchanted my three year old granddaughter. We read it about ten times over this past weekend. In addition to being a lovely story, the book served as her introduction to Paris and to a few new words both French and English. Highly recommended for imaginative children.
