This set of board books makes the perfect gift for a new baby, or a very first or second birthday. It is a collection of some of the very best of Jan Brett. It belongs in every family's home library! The stories are warm and funny. The art work makes them something you will keep to share with future generations.

I bought this book set for my 6-year-old niece because she had told me that Jan Brett was her favorite author. The books were a lot of fun, perfect for a child who is just learning to read as there are no hard words, but the thing that really was outstanding to my niece and me was the art work. Not only was it beautiful, but very clever too, giving us lots to talk and giggle about as we noticed things pertaining to the stories painted on the sides and tops of the pages. I would highly recommend this set to anyone who likes to encourage children to read, think and discover.
