Editor's Notes and Comments:

Product Description:
The international bestseller How Clean Is Your House? is a new kind of cleaning book—full-color, hilarious, and fun. Packed with trade secrets and inventive cleaning solutions, it goes through the house room by room, offering do’s and don’ts, step-by- steps, and before-and-after “grime scene” photographs.

Kim Woodburn and Aggie MacKenzie are known as “the queens of clean” from Lifetime Television and The Oprah Winfrey Show. Tips include:
• Use a banana peel to dust plants; the dust clings to the skin and the juice nourishes the leaves
• Leave laundry detergent to soak in your bathtub overnight—the tub will gleam in the morning (no scrubbing required)
• To loosen dirt and grease inside the microwave, put a few slices of lemon in an uncovered bowl of water and cook on high for 3 minutes.

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - A great cleaning guide!
Okay, I'm not one to read, pick up or collect books, but this is a must have for anyone who likes a clean home.

These two Brits give simple ways of making cleaning easier and fun, plus there are many tips on making cleaning products from common household items that really work.

I have to say that one of my favorite shows on right now is "How Clean is Your House" on BBC America. Kim and Aggie are fun to watch clean really dirty houses.

Alright I admit it, I'm a clean freak and this is my bible, but buy it and I guarantee this will help you keep your house clean.

Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - Great info, too noisy design
I liked the information that this book has. Very useful advices on how to keep your house clean using simple handy products such as baking soda, ice cubes, even banana peel.

The design of the book, however, is not that "clean", but very noisy. This makes it hard to read - white font on pink page (p.55), white on dark orange (p.58), white on brighter orange (pp.62-63), white on colorful photo (p.150). To make a long story short - I would really like the designer of the book to be less creative. May be the book would look more formal, but much easier to read. Something to think about when/if the book is going to be reprinted!

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - I am suddenly cleaner!
This is such a pleasant book. I have never been a housekeeper, but the tv show and this book have really helped me begin to clean and to enjoy it. The tips are great and the use of natural cleaners is fun and inspiring. I love to go try them out.

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - No Nonsense Cleanliness
Kim and Aggie are able to either put us to shame or inspire us to clean out the cupboard under the kitchen sink. Their show in the UK and on BBC America is inspiring in a weird, lemony fresh kind of way. Kim takes no nonsense from anyone and Aggie's scientific approach always produces scary results on the germ count. But at the end of the day these ladies know what it means to keep a clean house. A home does not need to have the latest or most expensive furniture or the trendiest accessories but it should be clean if the occupants hope to maintain health and well being (and many episodes of their show prove this).

Their book gives sound and complete advice, peppered with naughty, tongue in cheek British humor, on how to clean each room. Many of the cleaning products can be created at home with little cost and even less effort. Baking soda, white vinegar, lemon juice and a few drops of lavender essntial oil, is almost all that's needed, resulting in a clean and fragrant home. Lovely.

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - clean
Love the show, glad that there are easy, helpful hints that aren't that expensive. A great workout though!
