This review book is excellent!
I took the exam in Sept for the very first time. I did not take any review courses, and I was just right out of school with absolutely no experience in audit.
This Wiley review book is the only study source that I used for the exam. I spent less than 50 hours to just read through the material in the book. I did not even get to do simulations and some parts of multiple choice exercises. Certainly, I did not even have time to read the AICPA audit standards as I was rushing to just read through all materials within the last 2 weeks before the exam. With only two audit courses that I took in college, I did not know much about audit. Thus, how I did on the exam was mainly based on what I have studied from the Wiley review book.
The multiple choice exercises in the book are much more difficult than the actual exam, which prepared me well. I was able to spend less than a minute on each multiple choice question on the actual exam, and able to finish the exam within 3 hours.
I passed the exam with over 80% solely based on this Wiley review book; I did not even look at my notes or textbooks from college. Therefore, I highly recommend Wiley review book for everyone and wish everybody good luck!

Great value for the price. There were a few missprints, but overall I was very pleased with the presentation of information.

Having never taken an auditing class in college, I found this book to be extremely helpful.

The Wiley CPA exam prep books are the best for the money. The AUD book, like the others, is comprehensive and thorough, even if not summarized like Becker or Kaplan. Actually, Wiley covers 100% of the exam material, whereas the others focus on "key" test areas and "value-added" mnemonics and summaries. But, Wiley is the most comprehensive and best-priced, and coupled with the prep software, it's a great package.

I used Wiley as a supplement with another online program. I decided to buy it and use it for final review a few weeks before my exam just to make sure I had everything covered. Turns out I hadn't been adequately prepared with the online program alone.
Whether or not this book can stand on its own for your CPA review prep depends on your circumstances. I earned my accounting degree over 10 years ago, so this book served me well in my final review prep; but I don't think I could have passed with this book alone.
However, if you're fresh out of college, this book might be all you need.
In the end, I passed with help from this book. That's good enough for 5 stars.
