For as thick, which alludes to a complete manual, that this book is, it is not as complete as it could be. It lacks a troubleshooting section; at least a section of the most likely problems the neophyte might run into with the possible solutions. The average person who picks this book up will probably be new to Linux distributions. Nevertheless he will be anxious to learn all that he can before diving into the OSS pool, so it would be very helpful if this book would make that one of its objectives. In this case, I wonder how useful the section on the "server" would be.
