Larry Wilde wrote a large number of joke books for mass consumption in the 70's and 80's. As older works they would now probably be considered classic humor. New would be defined by whether or not you had come across a particular joke before. As classics Wilde's are all excellent. He poked loving fun at a wide variety of topics and ethnic groups before political correctness ran amuck. As such each book can almost be considered a chapter or volume in what is actually a larger encyclopedia or master volume.
Used copies of his works are inexpensive and a great place to start for the beginning joke collector or the obsessive compulsive type, like myself. Recommended, to say the least.
