This spirited narrative challenges students to think about the meaning of American history. Thoughtful inclusion of the lives of everyday people, cultural diversity, work, and popular culture preserves the text's basic approach to American history as a story of all the American people. I purchased this book for a class. It is not something I would normally buy to read for pleasure. I felt the authors were biased and included some odd trivia in the book to push their own liberal agenda.

Product did not arrive by the due date and I still have not received it. Emailed seller and they have not contacted me at all. I would never buy anything from this seller again. I expedited the shipping because this book is for a college class I am taking and this has put me behind two weeks. I wish I hadn't bought anything from this person in the very first place!
