Editor's Notes and Comments:
Product Description:
Andrew's mother and father always ask very clearly if Andrew needs to go pee, and his answer is always, 'No, no, no, no.' Unfortunately, that answer never seems to last long! 'This is an attractive, well-designed, sturdy package...'

This book is very funny if you don't mind reading for 5 minutes about a boy who needs to pee. My son thinks it's hilarious, but then he's 12 and a little crude sometimes himself. I don't read it to my preschool class, because it does not convey an attitude that I want them to have. Also, some parents might find it a little offensive. All in all, it is funny but not for a group.

This book was perfect for a grandchildren gift. No one can write quite like Robert Munsch. It seems he actually "lives" in children's heads!

Note:
When I very first obtained this book I made the assumption that it was a potty training book, and I wrote the review below. Someone pointed out that this book doesn't necesarily advertise itself as a potty training book. It's just a funny story. OK, that's fair. I can't change the stars but I do see the point. I suppose if I saw it just as a funny book for children I'd give it more stars.
-------------------------------------------------
This is not a book that actually teaches anything about using the potty. This is a funny book about a little boy who is repeatedly asked if he needs to go potty and says "no no no" but later has to "go" in the most inconvenient of circumstances. We've all been there, haven't we parents?
But this book doesn't train at all. If you want a funny book to share with a little boy who needs potty training, you may like this, but if you want a book that will help instruct a child, look elsewhere.

My son, who has just finished potty training, loves this book. He finds it humorous as do the grown ups that are reading it to him - which is great especially in this stage of repetitive book reading. We have a great time reading it together.

Andrew's parents ask him frequently if he needs to "Pee." He always says, "No!" But, a few minutes later the answer is "Yes, right now!" We liked this book because of it's realism. It is a typical problem for moms and dads of preschoolers. This book has a similar twist to his other books. The ending is not expected.
