Based on previous reviews I had high expectations for this book. It does have some standard, basic/good advice. Much of what is in here however is the same old stuff repeated in several different ways throughout: Such as - having a positive attitude, good grooming, enjoying your life by yourself - not being needy. The thing that struck me the most was the high amount of grammatical, spelling and other errors throughout the book. Poorly written at times.
I would skip it.

I've never been confident in myself!Until I bought this book! The only way to make people love you is by loving yourself! This book will teach you how to change the things you don't like about you so that you can start truly appreciating yourself.And believe me, it shows!I have recommended that book to every one of my friends. Money well spent.

I love this book.
I had already won the man of my dreams several years prior to reading this book, but I was afraid the magic was going out of our relationship (the seven year itch, anyone?) so I was doing a little research to get ideas for sparks.
This book was the best of my reading. The book is not about wearing tight clothes and flirting with every guy in range, despite what the title might make you think. It's about making people glad to spend time with you, whether they are a spouse, friend or colleague.
If you want ideas for what you can do with your wardrobe, attitude and behaviors, in order to please your man, find one, or just have a better time with your friends and at work, then this is the book.

My girlfriends and i were casually discussing flirting tactics one day, so for fun we searched around in amazon, found this book, read all of the very high reviews, and were super excited to start reading it (in a very goofy, girly way.) When the book arrived, I picked it up, read it in less than an hour, and was very let down. The book is written in list form, which I'm fine with, and then seperated into different chapters. However, I felt that the information provided wasn't really anything new and was honestly reiterated in various unnecessary wordy paragraphs (or points, i guess) over and over again, [...]. Some points were cute, but to me seemed obvious and very tongue in cheek ( ie: men like when girls wear pink or peach cause it's like a pretty flower, make sure to shower because no one likes a dirty girl) and I dug the section about the importance of confidence and how you need to love yourself, but there were too many obstacles in the way for me to enjoy much of the book. [...]. After about 100 tips I basically skimmed through the rest of the book, and sat there pretty dumbfounded about why everyone loved this book. Maybe I'm missing something, or perhaps I should have read this in highschool instead of now in my mid twenties, but it wasn't worth the [money] that's for sure.

What an absolutely simple, yet powerful tool for building your self-esteem! It's so easy to implement, but it has such far-reaching repercussions. What Mandy offers here is a true gem. I'm telling all my friends about it.
