Editor's Notes and Comments:

Product Description:
In the fictional Diary of a Teenage Girl, sixteen-year-old Caitlin O'Conner reveals the inner workings of a girl caught between childhood and womanhood ... an empty life without Christ and a meaningful one with Him. Through Caitlin's candid journal entries we see her grapple with such universal teen issues as peer pressure, loyalty, conflict with parents, the longing for a boyfriend, and her own spirituality.

Follow Caitlin O'Conner, a girl much like yourself, as she makes her way from New Year's to the very first day of summer -- surviving a challenging home life, changing friends, school pressures, an identity crisis, and the uncertainties of 'true love.'

You'll cry with Caitlin as she experiences heartache, and cheer for her as she encounters a new reality in her life: God. See how rejection by one group can -- incredibly -- sometimes lead you to discover who you really are...

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - Great Book!!
I am a 32 year old mother who has a soon to be 13 year old teenage(daughter) in my house. She is very level headed and very responsible. I purchased this book of all places at a Salvation Army because I liked the title of the book, got it home and read cover to cover in about a day and a half. I read books with different age ranges just to see what the tween/teen books are about and I have to say I was very pleased when I got into this book...Very educational book on growing up, respecting your body, religion, friendship and faith.Plus in the form of a diary you can not go wrong and won't be disappointed. I loved to read growing up and always had my nose in a book, I wish I would of found these books while I was in middle school/high school. I then found out this is a series and will purchase all the others as well. My daughter loves to read as well, shes just like I was and I will hold these for here for about another year or so (shes still a little young) then let her enjoy them. If she has any unanswered questions and reads this book I'm sure a lot of her questions will then get answered. Trust me as I was a young mother myself I don't think you'd be disappointed with the purchase one bit!! I know I wasn't and came to me as a complete surprise!! It will leave you wanting to go out and purchase the whole series of all the diary's of a teenage girl books!!

Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - Check this out.
I recently purchased this book for my fourteen year old daughter, she told me it was a great book. In fact I am looking at purchasing more in the series. She said it was not too religious for her- she could relate with the main character.

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - Great for Teen Girl
The book is age appropriate and I read it before I gave to my 18 year old niece for her birthday. She wants to buy the whole set. She found it interesting to read.

Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - Becoming Me
Great teenage stories that draw students to want to read the book. I can't keep the series of books in my classroom. As soon as it's checked in it's checked out by someone else.
