I am a student of Dr. Staats and have high praise for this work. As a beginning student of biblical Hebrew, I find this to be a very useful tool to increase my proficiency. I use book in conjunction with a deductive grammar book as one of my main methods of learning the language. Particularly, I find it very practical because it takes you right into the biblical text, which is the ultimate goal of any student of biblical Hebrew. Each phrase and word is broken down into its component parts for analysis. There are no artificial phrases here; from the beginning, a student, and even those who have mastered the language, can find this work beneficial on many different levels.
